Questions people ask before paying

Is £79 really everything, forever?

Yes. Everything in the app today and every update to it, including Making Tax Digital for Income Tax and VAT, the native apps, and receipt reading. Fair use is 200 invoices a month. The only things not included are things not listed - we say so rather than hide it.

What happens to my data if HAMAR closes?

You get it back as a ZIP of plain CSVs, no fee. That is written into the founding terms and it is how the accountant year pack already works today.

I'm a limited company, not a sole trader. Is it for me?

Yes: invoicing, chasing, payments, VAT returns and clean exports for your accountant now. Corporation tax, Companies House filing and payroll come after MTD for Income Tax ships. HAMAR is self-serve record-keeping; it never gives accountancy advice.

Do you take a cut of my payments?

No. Card payments go through Stripe at Stripe's standard rate straight to your bank; HAMAR adds nothing. Bank transfer and cash cost nothing at all.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes - sign up without a card, send a real quote and invoice, and see the chasing in action. The founding seat is only worth taking once you know you want it.

What if I stop trading or want a refund?

Monthly: cancel in Settings, no questions. Founding: 14-day full refund if you change your mind. After that the seat is yours for good; there is no ongoing charge to stop.
